NWU HPC Cluster Upgrade
Install latest rocks-6.1 with rolls and latest Scientific Linux 6.4

• Test all new Software and Hardware with new Rocks 6.1 and SL 6.4 on NWU Sandpit
• Develop and test queuing system on the sand for FIFO fair use Sandpit
• Test PXE boot with the new software to Compute nodes
• Remove all old BL220 from MK1 Server Room for Enclosure Firmware Upgrade and VC Cards
• Shutdown and remove new G8 Blades (X16) to the Upgraded Firmware Enclosure from MK2 to MK1
• Install New G8( X8) blades in the Enclosure in the MK2 and configure then to work in our Cluster
• Isolate one G7 to install the software for the upgrade use it as a head node
• Add all the users from the Old Prod Head Node
• Install all the software from the Old Head Node to the New Head Node
• Test New Infiniband Switch on HPC Prod
• Test all the software in the new Environment
• Develop and test queuing system on the sand for FIFO fair use NWU HPC Prod1
• Expose NFS Server together with 3 PAR Storage to HPC Prod1
• Benchmark new Hardware Infiniband Switch and New Cluster Software.
