Implementing an Electronic Platform for 2016 leave encashment

The request was initiated by Peet du Toit (People and Culture) – received on 21 June 2016

With the choice employees have to make regarding the encashment of their accumulated leave days related to the 2016 COLA AND which has to be implemented by the end of September 2016,
People and Culture request that an electronic platform be created where employees can log in with their staff number and Novell password to see the effect the choice they want to make in monetary terms (before tax), in order to make and record their choice.
The response is to go to Estelle Rheeder (Remuneration Specialist) before or on 15 August 2016 to assist her in eliminating the number of hard copies – if they do reach her office – and to have a quick spreadsheet of the responses in real time.
