Project Description

Cloud computing is the delivery of shared computing resources, software, or data as a service through the internet.

The goal of this project is to provide virtual desktops to any device and place and time, giving end users access to full university resources previously on accesible form university network connected lab PC’s

Work smarter not harder, to bring down lab managment overhead and staff resources needed to manage the enviroment.

Providing a secure space for online exam deliver on BYOD devices.

Project Discussion One Response to PC Lab Virtualization Project

  1. The project has been revived and there are weekly sessions by the project team. During the week of 24 February a project plan will be created in order to stick to the deadline of the coming exam. During the week of 2-6 March a consultant will be on site to assist with the re-creation of the environment (to spec) and to up-skill the relevant staff who will support various aspects of the system.
