  1. Leave application moved to 2018, a number of other apps did go live. THis project can be closed

  2. HR users requested more changes that was initially out of scope, that is being developed as we speak. COnfident that after these changes they’ll agree to go live.
    POPI is ready to go
    DIY portal is ready to go.

  3. Both Popi and Leave is done – we just need a decision on the multi-language issue. The DIYService portal is also translated in to Afrikaans and English.
    I’m leaving the percentage as is. We’re also at the point where testing will begin on the PGSMS workflows – TItle registration and Notice of Submision

  4. This project will be closed when the first 2 document processes : POPI and Leave Balance request is in production. Currently in testing

  5. Progress made on the automated documentation and selfservice portal as follows:
    Self service portal design, setup and testing
    Workflow engine developed and in testing
    POPI documentation process in testing
    Leave balance request process in testing

    Conflict of interest delayed to legal matters to address and 2016 process manually – automation planned for 2017
    Leave application process delayed due to the supervisor structure not available in HR. Additional business process started at HR to address the lack of structure

    Biographical process being analyse and well as the student assistant payment application process

  6. We’re currently in a QA phase, ensuring everything is working as expected
    We also have a test environment at NWU where we want to test the Integration with HR, to ensure the leave transaction is created correctly once it’s been approved – we’ve done some testing on this, more on the workflow side, but not yet confirmed everything looks good on the HR side – Roald should be able to help us with that early January
    Currently the organizational structure to determine the responsible person for approvals are read from VSS, Dassie has requested that we change that to rather read from HR – this will be new development, but is not required for us to start a pilot or even go life
    We’ve also got approval on the name an links for the self service portal – and the whole design – we’re still fine tuning it as well, but are on track
    CAS Authentication are still outstanding – but i don’t see any issues getting it in place.
    Production Hardware is due to be ready in January – this is probably the only risk that i should high light

  7. POC is addressing:
    1) balance request and leave application with Workflow approval
    2) and integration with HC systems.
