    Good day Claudia,

    Good day Susan,

There is a patch and update scheduled for the PABX system on your campus this weekend. The scheduled time for this to be done will be between 01H00 and 02H00 on Sunday morning the 17th of April 2016., when it should least impact on your telephone network.

The only foreseeable impact that this might have on your telephone system, is that the telephones might go down during this time for a period not longer than 1 hour. I would advise that you inform the Protection Services on your campus of this, as they might possibly be the only ones depending on the service at that time of the night, in order for them to make arrangements for the use of alternative communication methods.

At 03H00 a comprehensive test of the environment will be conducted by Mr James Cook, in order to determine that everything is still working. Should any problems arise, Mr Cook will inform me of that and I will communicate it further if necessary.

Please confirm if this will suit you and if it will be an appropriate time for us to do this. Your cooperation in this regard will be highly appreciated.

    Regards,
